I couldn't find any other way to suspend my account. I don't want Netflix permanently, I want to get it for a month and binge everything I can then cancel and catch up on other things. Then get it again for a month a few months later. I'm between months currently and if I open Netflix I see a big red "RESTART YOUR MEMBERSHIP" button. When you want to re-start, just log in, and choose some movies, to add to your queue. Apr 16, 2020 · In the past, you could pause your Netflix membership for any reason for a short period of time. Billing would stop and reactivate once the hold period ended. Netflix did away with that feature but you can still put a hold, it just requires a few more steps. To pause your Netflix membership, you'll need to cancel it and reactivate it. To cancel, go to My Account and click the Cancel Membership button underneath Membership & Billing.
