I chose Mint Mobile because they use T-Mobile's network and I wouldn't have to buy a new phone. My experience with T-Mobile's network is satisfactory, but your mileage might vary coming from another major carrier. In general though, I find it to be a robust network with good coverage. I ported my number that I've had for almost 15 years.

The most recent source I've been able to find on this question is this Reddit thread where the consensus seems to be yes, WFM phones do get Wifi calling. However, it doesn't seem to be working with my phone, and when I contacted WFM support they told me that Wifi calling is not available on WFM. Now I'm unsure on if it is or isn't available.
Wi-Fi Calling and some other T-Mobile products require a valid E911 address to work. You must update each line's E911 address when they move. Go to My T-Mobileand log in to your account. Three mobile phones in the household, all on the T-Mobile network, all have had WiFi calling for at least one year. Nothing has changed on our end: same router, same modem, same Comcast Internet. A week ago, WiFi calling worked. Ported in an iPhone 6S+ and an iPhone SE from AT&T. WiFi calling does not work on either phone, even though it worked fine before we switched. Called T-Mobile support and got told they’d “open a ticket with an engineer” to find out why WiFi calling doesn’t work on our phones. Never heard back. Good luck.
